The Gamma Ursae Minorid meteor shower will illuminate the night sky this month. The shower peaks on July 29 and 30, but you can see meteors from around July 22 to August 2. The shower produces about 10 meteors per hour at its peak. The meteors are faint, so you’ll have a better chance of seeing them if you’re away from city lights.
