StreetScooter is saved by its original founder
The new company of Günther Schuh, the founder of StreetScooter, has taken over the operations and assets of Nob Manufacturing GmbH.
Nob Manufacturing GmbH was previously owned by the DHL Group.
The new company will assemble the electric delivery van Pelkan, which has a maximum output of 85 kW and uses the Mobility in Harmony (MIH) open vehicle platform from contract manufacturer Foxconn.
The new company wants to introduce “superior sustainability to the automotive industry through the extreme longevity of vehicles.”
It developed an upgrade reassembly process to regularly and cost-effectively upgrade existing vehicles “thanks to a particularly durable chassis and a digital vehicle file.”
