IOC wants separate esports Olympics, Bach says
IOC President Thomas Bach hinted that he is against esports in the Olympic Games and wants a separate competition for computer games. He said the digital revolution offers enormous opportunities for the Olympic movement but esports need their own event. The IOC Esports Commission is studying the creation of Olympic Esports Games. Bach also expressed his excitement ahead of Paris 2024 Summer Games.
