Sonic the Hedgehog 2 had many unreleased content, including Cyber City Zone, Winter Zone, Wood Zone and Sand Shower Zone. These stages were cut due to the ambitious concept of time travel mechanics. But thanks to the Video Game History Foundation, we can still see gameplay footage and assets of these abandoned stages.
