Lex Fridman is an American computer scientist, podcaster, and writer.

Lex Fridman is a computer scientist and podcast host. He was born in Chkalovsk, in the former Tajik Soviet Socialist Republic, and spent his early years in Moscow. His ancestry is Jewish. His father is Drexel University professor Alexander Fridman, a plasma scientist. Gregory Fridman, his brother, is a plasma physicist as well.

Fridman graduated from Drexel University with a BS and MS in computer science in 2010 and a PhD in electrical and computer engineering in 2014. He has a podcast called the Lex Fridman Podcast, where he interviews people from a variety of backgrounds.
