Bungie has officially delayed the release of Destiny 2: The Final Shape expansion to early 2023.

Destiny 2: The Final Shape has been delayed to June 4, 2024. Bungie says it is taking the time to deliver an even bigger and bolder vision for the expansion. The company will reveal more information about The Final Shape in April. In the meantime, Season of the Wish, which begins today, will be extended until the launch of The Final Shape in June. Bungie is also adding new content available for all players until the release of The Final Shape, including new weekly progression-based quests called Wishes, the launch of Moments of Triumph with unique rewards, a refreshed focus on class vs. class competition in Guardian Games, and a two-month content update called Destiny 2: Into the Light.
