Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a decent action RPG, but it’s not quite the Yakuza game we know and love. The story is interesting, but the combat is repetitive and the side quests are lackluster. If you’re a fan of the Yakuza series, you might want to give this one a try, but it’s not essential.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is a bridge between Yakuza 6 and Yakuza 8. It focuses on Kiryu’s life after faking his death. The game is a mixed bag, with some good new elements (e.g. the Colosseum) but also some disappointments (e.g. the lack of a compelling story).
