DCR-STAT3 is a Dicerna Pharmaceuticals drug candidate for the treatment of solid tumors. It is a small interfering RNA (siRNA) that targets the STAT3 gene. STAT3 is a transcription factor that is involved in cell growth and survival. By targeting STAT3, DCR-STAT3 could inhibit the growth and survival of cancer cells. DCR-STAT3 has been shown to be effective in preclinical studies in a variety of solid tumors. In a Phase 1 clinical trial, DCR-STAT3 was well-tolerated and showed promising antitumor activity.
